Wild’s Keith Ballard On Playoffs, Fishing Opener

in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Keith Ballard helped the Minnesota Wild limit the Chicago Blackhawks, which is a big part of the game plan. “I think with their personal … there’s more shots that become dangerous. DPS: Plan A Sober Ride For Fishing Opener

As anglers head out for the 2014 Fishing Opener, authorities are sending out a reminder to plan for a sober ride if you plan on drinking this weekend. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety said officers will be out in full force Friday in at least 25 counties around the state.

DNR Adds 1,000 Trout To Vermillion River

It’s about a month before the fishing opener in Minnesota. But if you’re interested in stream trout fishing, that season opens Saturday. On Friday, the DNR added 1,000 rainbow trout to a river not too far from the Twin Cities.
