Officials in Moorhead say foul play is not suspected after a kayaker found a body Wednesday on the Red River.
A body was removed from the Mississippi River on Sunday near Riverfront Park in Fridley, according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s office. Authorities say the body of an adult male was spotted by a person in a canoe at 2 p.m. near the river’s shore, close to the 5200 block of East River Road. The body was recovered by the Anoka County dive team, and turned over to the Anoka County Medical Examiner’s office. The sheriff’s office says no foul play is suspected.
A woman was found dead alongside the road in Otsego early Saturday morning, but authorities aren’t suspecting foul play. Wright County Deputies responded to a report of an unconscious woman on the shoulder of Parrish Ave NE at the intersection of 93rd Circle NE at 12:35 a.m. Saturday. A woman had fallen from a moving vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
