A freight train has derailed in St. Paul. Union Pacific spokesman Mark Davis says five empty cars of one of their trains derailed upright at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday. He says it was traveling from Chicago to St. Paul and derailed on tracks owned by Burlington Northern Santa Fe.
Gary and Barb Lindman have lived on 53rd Avenue in Plymouth for 20 years. They were close by when a pedestrian was hit and killed by a freight train.
