Minneapolis firefighters spent hours Saturday night battling a multi-building fire on the city’s north side. The Minneapolis Fire Department says crews responded to the fire on the corner of Freemont and Lowry avenues just before 10 p.m.
Police say one person is dead following a shooting near the intersection of 23rd and Fremond Avenue North in Minneapolis. Police said that one other person was also injured. The shooting happened at about 3:40 p.m.
