The search for a missing hunter in Crow Wing County has ended with his safe return. The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office began searching Wednesday evening for a 76-year-old man who went hunting with his dog near Garrison Wednesday and never came home.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 57-year-old woman died after she was hit by two vehicles in Mille Lacs County. Authorities say Linda Pettner was on foot and in the northbound traffic lane of Highway 169 south of Garrison when she was hit on Friday night.
