Lake Calhoun Beach Reopens After E. Coli Levels Drop

The 32nd Street Beach on Lake Calhoun has reopened after a test found bacteria levels are now safe. The Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board closed three popular beaches on Lake Calhoun and Lake Hiawatha earlier this week after tests found high levels of E. coli.

Friends Sentenced For Wildlife Crime In SD

Seven of eight people accused of illegally hunting geese in eastern South Dakota’s Miner County have now been sentenced in federal court. The group of friends known as “Team Those Guys” killed nearly 425 geese over a six-day period.
