Give Kids A Smile
Thousands of kids in the Twin Cities are about to get some free dental work. There are still appointments available for the “Give Kids a Smile” event, happening this weekend.
Minnesota dentists will be providing free dental care services for children in need across the state on Feb. 1-2.
The National Institute of Health says about 65 percent of babies use pacifiers and 45 percent of toddlers find comfort at their finger tips as thumb suckers. So, should parents worry? Just a little.
Good news for parents struggling to get their kids to the dentist in this tough economy.
The thought of a dentist’s chair is enough to make many grownups break out in a sweat. Now, imagine being a toddler facing the bright lights, noisy tools and a masked stranger. But there are ways to make it all less scary.
