The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team remained a unanimous No. 1 team in the country when the latest polls came out Monday, and goalie Adam Wilcox has had a lot to do with it. Wilcox, who leads the Big Ten and is second in the country with 18 wins this season, was named the league’s Second Star of the Week on Tuesday.
Zach Parise said it’s 50-50 if he can come back by Thursday night against Chicago. Meanwhile, the team continues to ask Darcy Keumper to try and keep the gate closed at goalie. So far, it’s been a welcomed challenge.

I mean, we got a good class of seniors with good leadership.”
Yes, the Wild are off to a great 10-4 start. But another story that continues to develop is how well Josh Harding has been standing out in goal for Minnesota, as he tries to put his multiple sclerosis on the back burner.
