Marcus Murphy ran for 159 yards, Russell Hansbrough added 114 yards and a touchdown and No. 16 Missouri beat Minnesota 33-17 on Thursday in the Citrus Bowl. Missouri (11-3) won its third straight bowl game to reach 11 victories for the fourth time in school history.

While Gopher fans focus on Thursday’s bowl game, Governor Mark Dayton is thinking ahead to next season. The governor doesn’t want the Gophers starting any more home games before noon. In fact, he’d like to see a law in Minnesota making those early starts illegal.

arlos Morris scored a career-high 24 points as Minnesota defeated UNC Wilmington 108-82 on Saturday. Morris hit 8 of 15 shots and all seven of his free throws as the Gophers (11-2) overcame an early nine-point deficit to win going away.

Andre Hollins scored a season-high 27 points and Minnesota beat Wake Forest 84-69 on Tuesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Hollins hit a career-high seven 3-pointers while Carlos Morris added 15 points and Joey King had 14 for the Golden Gophers (5-2).

Another come-from-behind win lifted Wisconsin to a Big Ten division title. Melvin Gordon ran for 151 yards and accounted for two scores, and the 14th-ranked Badgers rallied from a two-touchdown deficit to beat No. 22 Minnesota 34-24 on Saturday night to earn a trip to the conference championship game.
