It’s still a week away, but Halloween celebrations were already underway in Anoka, Minn. Saturday. The self-proclaimed Halloween Capitol of the World got a jump start on the season. Thousands of people dressed up and lined the streets for the Anoka Halloween Parade.
Officials announced Wednesday that popular local athlete and gay rights activist will be the grand marshal at this year’s PRIDE parade.
The maroon and gold will be well represented at Wednesday night’s CenterPoint Energy Torchlight Parade through downtown Minneapolis.
