A St. Louis Park gymnastics center has been evacuated after a CO2 leak Monday morning, according to a city representative. Now, four children are being monitored on site for possible hospitalization as a precaution.

High School Coach On Leave After Tattooing Minors

A high school coach has been placed on paid administrative leave for tattooing minors without their parent’s permission. Terry Robert Hardy, 37, is the gymnastics coach at Park High School in Cottage Grove. He’s been cited for two counts of tattooing minors without written parental consent. A 16-year-old girl told WCCO that Hardy gave her three tattoos and a tongue piercing, all inside his home.

It may be a frozen Friday night outside, but arenas throughout the state were heated up by boys’ high school hockey action. David McCoy was in Lakeville, and reported on our featured game: Lakeville North vs. Benilde.We also had cameras capturing the other hockey showdowns.One of the many standout performers at last week’s Prep Bowl was a running back who became a quarterback, then became a big playmaker. The ASPIRE Athlete of the Week is St. Croix Lutheran’s David Ponath.
