A motorcyclist from Rice is dead after a crash in Stearns County early Tuesday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The crash happened at about 6:48 p.m. on Highway 23 at County Road 123 in Paynesville.
An 8-year-old girl is in critical condition after the truck she was riding in was broadsided by a semi in Pine County. The girl’s mother, who was driving the truck, and 11-year-old brother were also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
