The flooding has slowed across the state and roads are beginning to reopen. The Highway 41 Bridge over the Minnesota River in Chaska, Minn. reopened Saturday. The state Department of Transportation reopened the bridge, one of the south metro’s busiest river crossings, as floodwaters receded.
Authorities say one person suffered minor injuries after a car hit a school bus with children on board Friday morning in Chaska. Police responded to the crash at about 10:30 a.m. on Highway 41 near Hudertmark Road.
Chaska motorists, rejoice. The Minnesota Department of Transportation has reopened both directions of Highway 41, spanning the Minnesota River.
