It was supposed to be a night of staged horror on a Twin Cities haunted limo tour, but a group of friends experienced something truly frightening.
Four people were injured after their limo was struck by two vehicles in the southeast metro. The accident happened Friday night just after 9:30 in Cottage Grove, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The limo was traveling southbound on Highway 61 and was making a left turn onto Kingsboro Trail to enter Zywiec’s Haunting Experience.

A man is custody after allegedly driving drunk and fleeing police officers in Cottage Grove, Minn. Saturday. According to Cottage Grove police, officers responded to a call around 1 p.m. of an elderly male driving over a curb and hitting a rock in the 7100 block of 80th Street. The caller told police that they believed the driver was intoxicated, and that the car was now heading northbound on Highway 61.
