The State Patrol says a semi took a turn too fast on a northwestern Minnesota highway and spilled sugar beets all over the road.
Two families are safe after a church where they lived caught fire in Moorhead, Minn. early Monday morning. Firefighters were called around 5:30 a.m. to a fire at the Moorhead Baptist Church at 512 Highway 75 North. According to authorities, firefighters believe the fire started in the center of the building and moved into the attic space.
Traveling across parts of Minnesota just got a little faster. The Department of Transportation raised the speed limit from 55 to 60 Tuesday on 730-miles of road around the state.
Police in Moorhead say a young brother and sister left a locked home and played in the highway while their parents slept. According to the police department, the two children were seen playing on Highway 75 between 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday.
