Homicide By Intoxicated Use Of A Vehicle
Authorities say a 21-year-old Wisconsin man is in jail after fleeing the scene of a crash in western Wisconsin Saturday morning that killed two people and injured six others. The Wisconsin State Patrol received a report of a crash involving two vehicles at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday on westbound Interstate 94 in Dunn County near the city of Elk Mound, which is between Menomonie and Eau Claire.
Wisconsin authorities have arrested a man who they say caused a fatal crash in a dump truck while he was intoxicated. The La Crosse County District Attorney’s Office says the 36-year-old man faces a charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle in the July crash that killed 29-year-old Jason Songer of La Crescent, Minnesota.
