Intelligent Nutrients is the natural healthy and beauty business founded by the legendary Minneapolis man who started Aveda. But when Horst Rechelbacher died in February his wife and daughter had to mourn, and then get the company back to work.
Horst Rechelbacher, the founder of the Aveda Corporation and Intelligent Nutrients, has passed away at the age of 72, according to his company’s website. A native of Austria, he opened the Horst & Friends salon in Minneapolis in 1965. Then in 1978, he started the Aveda Corporation, a company which he sold to Estee Lauder in 1997 for $300 million.
Most people are familiar with Aveda. The man behind Aveda has new line of skin and hair care products called Intelligent Nutrients.
It’s not often that people think about how they consume what they put on their bodies. But a Minnesota company is focusing on that. It’s called Intelligent Nutrients, and the flagship store just opened at Mall of America two weeks ago.
