With Hurricane Sandy forcing President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney to cancel their appearances early this week in Wisconsin, attempts to personally persuade the state’s famously fickle voters in the waning days of the race will have to wait.
As parts of New York evacuate and others out east prepare for Hurricane Sandy to make landfall, Minnesotans are also feeling some of the impact of Sandy.
Hurricane Sandy is on a collision course with one of the most populated areas of the United States. New Jersey is preparing for a possible direct-hit. Hurricane Irene slammed many communities there last year – so they’re taking no chances with this time around.
The 2012 presidential campaign between President Obama and Mitt Romney will be book-ended by hurricanes.
