A 32-year-old St. Paul woman has been sentenced to prison for her role in a wide-ranging identity theft ring.
Two Minneapolis men pleaded guilty Thursday in St. Paul to roles in an identity theft ring responsible for the loss of $2 million to banks and retail stores in 14 states.
A 44-year-old woman pleaded guilty Thursday to receiving $600 in connection with a multi-state identity theft ring that stole about $2 million from retail stores and financial institutions, the Department of Justice said.
Federal authorities say 19 people in Nevada and eight other states have been arrested in a debit and credit card identity theft and trafficking ring that prosecutors allege operated as a racketeering organization based in Las Vegas.
