A man is in critical condition and a St. Paul police officer is being treated after an early morning chase that turned into an officer-involved shooting. Authorities said the incident happened just after 4 a.m. Sunday, when a St. Paul police officer responding to a report of a burglary near the 1700 block of Dayton Avenue, heard gun shots fired nearby.
An early Saturday morning drive-by shooting in St. Paul left one dead and 2 people injured, police said. The shooting took place at 1 a.m. at the Moonshine Saloon along East Seventh Street.

Fridley police are investigating a possible stabbing at a pizza restaurant. Authorities said it happened at The Z-Z-A Factory on University Avenue Northeast, and added that the victim called to report the possible stabbing. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Two army recruiters were injured Tuesday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle in a parking lot across from Rosedale Mall. The vehicle kept going, dragging one of the men under the car then fled the scene, according to authorities.

Minneapolis police are searching for a suspect after three people including a toddler were shot and seriously injured on the city’s north side. Organizers demand justice for 22-year-old Terrence Franklin who was killed by Minneapolis police in a basement shootout in Uptown back on May 10. Police said Franklin shot and injured two Minneapolis officers.
Authorities have identified the officers involved in the shootout that left a deputy injured and a man dead earlier this week in Crow Wing County. Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl said deputy Scott Goddard received a gunshot wound to the shoulder during the shootout. Both Goddard and fellow deputy Adam Kronstedt, who was also involved in the confrontation, remain on administrative leave.
