Co. Attorney: Woman Drove Drunk With 3 Kids, Crashed Into Pole

An Eden Prairie woman faces criminal charges after she was accused of hitting a light pole while driving drunk with three young children in tow. The Dakota County Attorney’s office says 28-year-old Sissy Marie Garcia was charged Wednesday with two counts of second-degree driving while impaired and one count of child endangerment.

St. Paul Duo Charged With Using Fake Cash At Strip Club

Two St. Paul residents face criminal charges for allegedly trying to use fake $100 bills at an Inver Grove Heights strip club in December. The Dakota County Attorney’s office says 34-year-old Aaron Jacobs and 24-year-old Carmina Ward were charged Thursday with counterfeiting currency and trying to pass off the phony money at the King of Diamonds Gentleman’s Club.

Woman Accused Of Stealing $75K From Parents For Cosmetic Surgery, Drugs

A 54-year-old Lakeland woman is accused of stealing more than $75,000 from her parents in order to fund a tummy tuck, breast lift and her prescription drug addiction. According to the Dakota County Attorney’s Office, Kristen Mary Kruzel was charged Wednesday with three counts of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

Simley High Football Content With Underdog Status

It’s a new feeling at Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights — winning on the football field. At this school, most of the success has come indoor on mats. Quarterback Michael Busch says his team finally gets to feel like the wrestlers. “They’re always in the state, competition for a state championship, and we got the opportunity and it’s like the atmosphere of wrestling season,” Busch said.
