Man Gets 50 Years In Prison For Killing Parents

An Iron River man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for killing his parents last winter. Forty-five-year-old Jim Crain Jr. was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to two counts of second-degree intentional homicide.

Wisconsin Man Pleads Guilty In Parents’ Killings

An Iron River man has pleaded guilty to killing his parents last winter. Under a plea deal, 45-year-old Jim Crain Jr. pleaded guilty in Bayfield County to two counts of second-degree intentional homicide. WDIO-TV is recommending 15 to 20 years in prison on each count.

Friends, Family Gather To Remember Slain Couple

A couple hundred people gathered at the VFW post in Iron River to celebrate the lives of a couple who were slain. Jim Crain says he hopes the community remembers his grandparents, Jim and Eunice Crain, for the loving people they were, instead of how they died.

A small community in Bayfield County is mourning the deaths of an elderly couple, killed in an attack at their home. Sheriff’s officials identify the couple as 79-year-old Jim Crain and 76-year-old Eunice Crain, of Iron River.

Man, Woman Found Dead In Wis. Home

A man and woman are dead after an apparent altercation inside a northwest Wisconsin home, according to authorities. The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, for a residence in the town of Iron River.
