Authorities ID Victims In Isanti County Fatal Fire

Authorities said a 56-year-old man and 65-year-old woman, both of Braham, were found dead in a house fire in Itasca County on Tuesday. Fire crews were called to the 41000 block of Polk Street NE in rural Braham at about 11:53 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a fire.

Sheriff ID’s Boy, 13, Hit And Killed By Car In Isanti County

A 13-year-old boy from Cambridge was killed Thursday after getting hit by a car while riding his bike near the Cambridge Airport, according to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities identified the victim Friday as Colin Nathaniel Larson.

Police: Bicyclist, 13, Dies In Isanti Co. Crash

A 13-year-old boy died Thursday afternoon in central Minnesota after a car, driven by a fellow teenager, struck him as he rode his bike, authorities say. The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened minutes before 3 p.m. just west of Cambridge Township. The car and the bicyclist collided near the intersection of 329th Avenue and Airport Way.

Sheriff: Isanti County Jail Nurse Arrested For Drug Fraud

A 39-year-old Cambridge woman who worked at the Isanti County Jail was arrested last Thursday in connection with an ongoing drug case at the facility, according to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office. Cara Sue Lindgren, who worked as a nurse at the Isanti County Jail, is accused of ordering oxycodone and hydrocodone and was charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Isanti County Sheriff: Help ID Suspects Who Stole $35K Worth Of Equipment

Police said thieves knew exactly what they were doing when they made off with $35,000 worth of lawn equipment. In the surveillance video, you can see criminals dressed in camouflage and wearing face masks pulling up in a pick-up and then leaving Crawford Equipment in Cambridge, Minn., with a stolen trailer, loaded with expensive lawn mowers.

Man, 32, Pulled From Isanti County Lake In Drowning

Authorities said a man drowned in a lake north of the Twin Cities early Sunday morning after falling out of a boat, according to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office. First responders and a dive team were called to Long Lake in Isanti County at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday after man called saying he was in a boat with a friend who had fallen overboard and not come up.

A Cambridge man who claimed to be suicidal surrendered to police Thursday night after he pointed a gun at them and they subsequently responded by firing at him, according to a police report.
