The 19-year-old University of Minnesota student found dead near the Stone Arch Bridge in December died of hypothermia with acute alcohol intoxication contributing, officials say.
Police are still trying to figure out how a University of Minnesota student ended up dead outside over the weekend. The freshman’s body was discovered Sunday morning, just east of the Stone Arch Bridge, along Main Street in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Police are investigating after a man’s body was found lying on the riverbank, just east of the Stone Arch Bridge. Authorities say they received a 911 call around 8:45 a.m. Sunday regarding an unresponsive person lying on the ground.
