Authorities are saying very little about their search of the area in St Joseph where 11 year-old Jacob Wetterling was kidnapped at gunpoint more than 20 years ago.
“No case in the Midwest has changed how we parent our kids” more than that of Jacob Wetterling, said Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner.
Trevor Wetterling was just 10 years old when his older brother Jacob was abducted at gunpoint in 1989 near the family’s home in St. Joseph, Minn. The boys and a friend were on the way home from renting a video at a nearby convenience store. Jacob has not been seen since.
