A University of Wisconsin-Stout student found dead in January had a mix of drugs and alcohol in her system, according to the Menomonie Police Department. Jesse Jensen, 23, was found dead in her bedroom on Jan. 22. Jensen, from Owen, Wis., was a senior at the school. Toxicology tests indicate Jensen had a blood-alcohol level of 0.16 at the time of her death, and had morphine and oxycodone in her system.
Authorities are investigating after a college student was found dead in her residence near the University of Wisconsin-Stout early Thursday. Police in Menomonie, Wis., responded to the 1000 block of 6th Street at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday after a 23-year-old woman was found unresponsive in her bedroom.
