Vikings’ John Sullivan Probable For Bucs Game

Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan is listed as probable for the game at Tampa Bay on Sunday after suffering a concussion last week. Sullivan was a full participant in practice on Friday. He left the loss at Buffalo last week with a concussion, which he says is at least the fifth of his career.

Injury Report: Robinson Leaves Minnesota Vikings Practice, Sullivan Returns

The Minnesota Vikings were down a cornerback by the conclusion of practice on Thursday. Josh Robinson suffered an ankle injury and missed the remainder of practice. The team also learned that John Sullivan passed his concussion tests and practiced in a limited capacity. The team listed two players as non-participants, five as limited participants and four as full participants in Thursday’s practice. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have eight players listed on their injury report.

Vikings C Sullivan Returns From Concussion

Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan passed concussion testing and is expected to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sullivan, the veteran leader of Minnesota’s struggling offensive line, left Sunday’s game at Buffalo in the first quarter. He missed Wednesday’s practice but returned on a limited basis Thursday.

Fourth-And-Twenty Play Sticks In The Minds Of The Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings had a chance to clinch a victory over the Buffalo Bills Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium, but a fourth-and-20 conversion kept the game-winning drive alive. The Vikings were caught off guard by the quick pace of the 24-yard pass from Kyle Orton to Scott Chandler that converted the long fourth down and set up the game-winning score with one second remaining. During the game, the Vikings suffered a pair of injuries that forced the team to make changes on the offensive line.

Injured Vikings Sullivan, Ducasse To Be Evaluated

The Minnesota Vikings are having injury trouble in the middle of their offensive line. Center John Sullivan and right guard Vlad Ducasse were hurt on the same play Sunday in the first quarter at Buffalo, and neither returned to the game.

Team Grades: Offensive Ineptitude And Late Defensive Collapse Cost Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings stalled in the red zone and the Buffalo Bills scored in the final seconds for the game-winning score. The Vikings fell to 2-5 with a 17-16 defeat Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Vikings defense was very good, with the exception of a few plays and the game’s final drive. The offense was a disappointment again and Bridgewater is still a work in progress. The special teams were below average.

Vikings Running Game Broke Out Against Falcons With Help From Offensive Line

The Minnesota Vikings recorded over 200 yards rushing against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The offensive line was a big part of rookie Jerick McKinnon and veteran Matt Asiata’s big days. The Vikings made a roster move by signing quarterback Chandler Harnish to the practice squad and released wide receiver Donte Foster. Former Vikings safety Jamarca Sanford signed with the Washington Redskins.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Reaches Milestone

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson surpassed the 10,000 yard rushing plateau. He is the 28th player in league history and third quickest to do so. He is grateful for his God-given talent and blessed to have had the players around him to make it happen. Erin Henderson returned last week after missing the previous week with personal reasons, but did not play Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Cordarrelle Patterson’s role in the Vikings offense continues to expand.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Expects To Play Sunday In Lambeau

Adrian Peterson is dealing with a groin injury and will not miss a game, even if asked to do so. The Minnesota Vikings also can expect to have wide receiver Greg Jennings in the lineup when it travels to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Harrison Smith is on the mend and expects to begin practicing next week. The Vikings listed four players as non-participants, seven as limited participants and three as full participants in Thursday’s practice.

Minnesota Vikings Safety Harrison Smith May Need Surgery

The Minnesota Vikings announced that safety Harrison Smith will not play in Monday’s game against the New York Giants because of turf toe. In fact, the team is checking with doctors to see if rest and rehab can heal the second-year safety or if surgery is required. Surgery would put Smith on the injured reserve list.
