The mother of a teenage girl who’s hockey equipment was stolen calls the generosity they’ve received “overwhelming.” Someone broke into Robin Tomaszewksi’s car and stole her 13-year-old daughter Jordyn’s goalie gear, worth $2,700. The Tomaszewksis have been searching online for the items to show up. But now, strangers are helping Jordyn get back on the ice, and have pitched in to get her new gear. Jordyn was fitted with near gear Saturday at Total Hockey in Minnetonka with the help of Gongshow Gear.
A family has a message for whoever stole thousands worth of hockey gear from a 13-year-old girl. Sometime between last Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, someone stole Jordyn Tomaszewksi’s hockey equipment out of her mom’s car, which had been parked in their driveway. “It was gone, everything. The whole back of our Explorer was completely empty,” said Jordyn’s mom, Robin.
