Pedestrian Killed By Truck In Long Lake ID’d

Authorities identified the 78-year-old man who died Friday afternoon in an accident in Long Lake, Minn. James Thomas Parry, 82, died after being struck by a pickup truck. According to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at 2:56 p.m. at Brown Road and Wayzata Boulevard.

Police Hunt For Armed Robbers In Long Lake Home Invasion

Authorities are investigating a violent home invasion and armed robbery in Long Lake Saturday afternoon. According to Wayzata Police, the robbery was reported at 3:38 p.m. on the 200 block of Glenmoor Lane. Karen and John Davis were restrained by duct taped in their basement by three men, who entered their home at approximately 2 p.m.

Man, 32, Pulled From Isanti County Lake In Drowning

Authorities said a man drowned in a lake north of the Twin Cities early Sunday morning after falling out of a boat, according to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office. First responders and a dive team were called to Long Lake in Isanti County at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday after man called saying he was in a boat with a friend who had fallen overboard and not come up.
