Four people were hospitalized – and a man suffered gunshot wounds – Friday evening after a shooting and related car crashes on the city’s north side.
Minneapolis Police say a juvenile was shot while walking down a north Minneapolis street early Wednesday night. Police spokesman John Elder says the young male was walking on North Lowry and Logan avenues around 6 p.m. when he heard gunshots, and soon realized he had been shot. The juvenile sought help nearby and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Minneapolis firefighters got out just in time after a fire Saturday morning on Lowry Avenue brought a building’s walls down, authorities say.
A 35-year-old Minneapolis man is accused of shooting another man during a Sept. 23 incident in north Minneapolis, according to charges filed in Hennepin County Court on Friday.
