Otter Attacks Mpls. Girl in Western Wisconsin

A Twin Cities girl is recovering from puncture wounds, scratches and bruises after a frightening attack in the water. Rory Kliewer, 12, was climbing out of Bone Lake near Luck, Wis., Saturday when a large otter jumped on her and wouldn’t let go. At first, she thought it was a fish.

Authorities ID Woman Killed In Polk County Snowmobile Crash

Authorities have identified a 20-year-old woman who was killed on a western Wis. lake when the snowmobile she was riding, being operated by a drunk driver, hit an ice house. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim Friday as Victoria G. Henderson of Luck, Wis.

Snowmobile Hits Ice House In Western Wis., Woman Killed

A 21-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night for driving a snowmobile drunk and crashing into an ice fishing house on a western Wisconsin lake, leaving a female passenger dead, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
