Mankato Writer Releases Horror Fiction Publication

An English instructor at Minnesota State University instructor has produced a literary magazine that focuses on the horror genre. Colin Scharf teamed up with a fellow writer based in Colorado to release “Spooklights,” which was published in August.

2 New MN Restuarants Ranked Among US’ Top 50

Bon Appetit magazine has released a list of the top 50 best new restaurants in the U.S. and Minnesota has two — Borough and World Street Kitchen Lyndale. Borough’s known for its oysters, pasta, cheesburgers and even tofu. At World Street Kitchen, a multitude of cultures are represented, from rice bowls, to burritos, and sandwiches.
