Police in Maple Grove have identified a suspect they’re seeking in connection to the weekend movie theater shooting that left two people injured.
One person was hospitalized and a man is in custody after a shooting in Maple Grove early Sunday morning, according to police. Maple Grove Police were called at about 2:05 a.m. to the 17000 block of 89th Place North on a report of a shooting.
Maple Grove Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who allegedly broke into a car and stole a credit card. According to Maple Grove Police, a woman reported that her car had been broken into sometime between 6:45 and 8:10 p.m. while it was parked at the Ralia Sports Center, in the 8600 block of Valley Forge Lane.
Two people are dead and three are injured after a two-car crash and subsequent head-on collision in Maple Grove Friday afternoon. According to the Maple Grove Police Department, officers were called to a report of a head-on collision around 3:54 p.m. Friday at County Road 81 and Maple Grove Parkway.
No one was hurt and the suicidal gunman was taken into custody without incident after an 11-hour standoff in Maple Grove, police say.
