Authorities said a 23-year-old Alexandria man died Wednesday night in a drowning incident in a Douglas County lake. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was called to Maple Lake on the 12000 block of Forada Beach Road SE just after 5 p.m. on a possible drowning and that a victim was found in the lake.
