The Maple Plain City Council voted unanimously on Friday in favor of censuring and limiting the duties of Mayor Roger Hackbarth, according to city officials. A 62-year-old Maple Plain man is dead after his ATV crashed into a wide load tractor trailer late Monday night near Grand Rapids in northern Minnesota, the state patrol said. According to the patrol, Brian Johnson was going southbound on Highway 65 just south of Pengilly, Minn., when he crossed over and collided with the wide load trailer that was going northbound in the other lane.
