An Oregon man riding on an Amtrak train to Minnesota has been arrested in North Dakota after authorities found more than 7 pounds of marijuana in his luggage.
A 47-year-old Minneapolis man is accused of running a marijuana operation out of a Minneapolis home, according to charges filed Friday in Hennepin County Court.
Authorities said a 29-year-old man was arrested and about $100,000 worth of marijuana was seized Wednesday from a St. Cloud residence after a search warrant was executed.
Geraldo Sanchez Ramos, 34 of Apple Valley, and Yesenia Ponce-Carbajal, 26 of Apple Valley were both charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance on Friday in Dakota County District Court.
