The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol played a factor in a fatal head-on crash Saturday afternoon. Twenty-five-year-old Cory Ingeman, of Karlstad, crossed the center lane in his pickup truck, colliding head-on with a van on Highway 1 in Marshall County at about 12:42 p.m.

One person was killed and another critically injured in a head-on collision in Marshall County Tuesday evening. The crash happened on Highway 59 at 270th Street Northwest, just north of Thief River Falls, Minn. at about 8:20 p.m.
