The Dakota County Sheriff’s Deputies recovered a body Friday afternoon from the Minnesota River underneath the Mendota Bridge. Authorities turned the body of a Caucasian male over to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.
The body of a woman was pulled from a channel of the Mississippi River Wednesday after fishermen made the discovery. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Water Patrol pulled the woman’s body from the water, near the Mendota Bridge.

Authorities have identified the 19-year-old St. Paul man who was killed after apparently running himself over on the Mendota Bridge. The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday on the bridge in Mendota Heights.
