Two sisters from Minnesota are accused of dealing large quantities of methamphetamine in North Dakota. Jacqueline Weiss, 22, and Jennifer Weiss, 25, of Zimmerman, Minn., are charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of meth.
A six-month investigation into the possession and sales of methamphetamine in Central Minnesota resulted in roughly 20 arrests and approximately 818 grams of meth purchased or seized, according to authorities.
Three men have been arrested and are believed to be connected to a series of burglaries in Beltrami and Cass Counties. According to the county sheriff’s office, 29-year-old Joshua James Martin, 25-year-old Jeremy Jay Martin, and 19-year-old Jasmine Lee Bellcourt were taken into custody over the weekend.
Five people are in the Douglas County Jail after the West Central Minnesota Narcotics Task Force, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and local police departments made a series of methamphetamine-related busts this week. On Monday, agents and officers from Alexandria Police arrested 29-year-old Kyle Hildebrand of South Haven and 23-year-old Jami Johnson of Sauk Rapid. Undercover agents bought 106 grams of meth for $6,000 from Hildebrand and Johnson, which has a street value of over $21,000. They were both eventually charged with 1st-degree controlled substance sales crime.
An Anoka family is searching for a missing father of two. Kevin Casserly, 22, was last seen near the North Star station in Anoka on Nov. 12. Casserly has not contacted his family or shown up to work at Lakeland Tool. Kevin’s sister, Alex Casserly, says her brother’s disappearance has been very difficult to explain to his children. “[His kids] wanted to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal, and for them it was hard to understand why their dad wasn’t there,” Casserly said.
A change of plea hearing for one of two brothers charged in a conspiracy to deal large quantities of methamphetamine was postponed after the defendant asked for more time to think about the deal.
The two people arrested after a 33-year-old man was shot in St. Augusta, Minn. earlier this week have been identified. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Erik Magnuson and 21-year-old Jerod Jakel went to the residence to collect money owed to them.

Mike Sanchez pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree controlled possession in receiving almost six pounds of cocaine and two pounds of methamphetamine on July 23, 2013 in Inver Grove Heights.
A 21-year-old Anoka man is accused of possessing more than 18 pounds of methamphetamine at his home valued at up to $1,000,000, according to charges filed in Anoka County Court. Cesar Ruben Fletes-Ortiz was charged with two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in connection with the case.
Two men have been charged after 6 pounds of cocaine and over 2 pounds of methamphetamine were recovered in Inver Grove Heights Tuesday, according to the Dakota County Attorney’s Office.
A 27-year-old Stockton man has been charged with conspiring to deal more than 500 grams of meth. Gabriel Orion Lowther was charged with one count of conspiracy as his indictment alleges that from August 2012 to June 2013, he aimed to distribute 500 or more grams of methamphetamine.
A 35-year-old Arden Hills man pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to distributing about 11 pound of methamphetamine after trying to sell to an undercover cop at a Target parking lot earlier this year. Marcelino Garcia pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute 500 or more grams of meth after getting indicted on March 20, 2013.
A 33-year-old man from Claremont, Minn., pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court for conspiring to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine. Specifically, Michael Steven Schoenfelder pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute 50 or more grams of meth.

A 35-year-old Burnsville was charged Friday in connection with possessing 12 pounds of methamphetamine, worth a street value of more than $400,000.
