Police Need Help Finding Missing ‘U’ Student

Minneapolis Police need your help to find a missing University of Minnesota student. Jennifer Houle, 22, was last seen between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Friday at Blarney Pub and Grill in Dinkytown. Police say her purse was found three blocks away on the 1100 block of 4th Street Southeast at about 3 a.m.

Teen Charged In Murder Of Man At Minneapolis Bus Stop

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the shooting death of a man who had just stepped off a city bus in northeast Minneapolis last September. Montrell Maurice Webster was arrested after a traffic stop, where officers found a gun in his possession.

Investigation Continues, Community Heals After Shooting Of Minneapolis Police Officer

Minneapolis police officers are sharing very little about the investigation into the shooting of an officer over the weekend. Sources tell WCCO Officer Jordan Davis was shot in the shoulder while standing outside of his squad car early Saturday morning. Police say the wounded officer and his partner had been clearing the scene after someone called to report a burglary in the 1100 block of 24th Ave N.

A Minneapolis man is charged with attempted murder, assault and burglary after allegedly shooting at his ex-girlfriend and then pointing his weapon at police. Thirty-seven-year-old Major James Moore was charged Friday with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree assault and first-degree burglary.

A 23-year-old Minneapolis man has pleaded guilty to both a shooting that injured two people at a bar, and also an unrelated stabbing incident. According to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, Devin Michael Glen Strouss pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree assault on Monday.

A drug pipeline that supplied meth from the Twin Cities to North Dakota has shut down. Strangely enough, it all started with electronics stolen from homes and businesses in Grand Forks and Twin Cities suburbs. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is warning citizens about phone scams. Residents have reported being called by people who claim arrest warrants are out for them due to unpaid court fees, fines or missed jury duty. Man, 25, Charged With Murder In Mpls. Rail Station Stabbing

A Minneapolis man is charged with murder in connection to the stabbing death of a 58-year-old man at a light rail transit station in Minneapolis Saturday.
