High school students in the Minneapolis public system won’t be hopping on those iconic yellow school buses for much longer. The district is phasing that traditional transportation out.

Target Corp., Cargill Inc., General Mills Inc. and Medtronic Inc. are providing more than $13 million in grants to help support students in K-12 through 2014.
