A report released Friday shows permits to conceal and carry handguns in Minnesota have nearly doubled in the last year. The report from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension showed that nearly 63,000 applications for handgun permits were processed, and more than 60,000 were issued.
The Minnesota Bureau Criminal Apprehension and the Faribault Police department are investigating a former teacher accused of abusing students at Shattuck – St Mary’s School.
