Police: Teen Bruised In Abduction Attempt Outside State Fair

St. Paul Police say that a 17-year-old girl was almost abducted after she left work at the Minnesota State Fair. According to police, the incident happened at about 9 p.m. Thursday near the east side of Snelling Avenue at Arlington Avenue.

The second day of the Minnesota State Fair is Governor’s Fire Prevention Day. There will be several fire education activities, including a Fire Explorer Challenge at Carousel Park, where young men and women will compete in events related to firefighting and lifesaving.
