The Minnesota State Patrol says two people died in a car crash that also injured four other people — including two children – over the weekend. The patrol says two cars crashed in a broadside accident Sunday afternoon in Murray County near Fulda.
Authorities said two people were seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash early Saturday night in northwestern Minnesota. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motorcycle crash at about 4:38 p.m. on County Road 5 west of Silver Lane NW.
A Minnetonka Police officer collided with another vehicle while on the way to call early Saturday morning. The officer was headed south on Hopkins Crossroad and was making a left turn east to Highway 7 at about midnight, according to police.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 57-year-old woman died after she was hit by two vehicles in Mille Lacs County. Authorities say Linda Pettner was on foot and in the northbound traffic lane of Highway 169 south of Garrison when she was hit on Friday night.
