A four-vehicle crash brought traffic to a stop on a busy metro freeway during the Friday morning commute. According to State Patrol Lieutenant Eric Roeske, a semi-truck was traveling southbound on I-35W just before 6:30 a.m. when the driver lost control.
A six hour standoff with authorities ended Sunday with a 47-year-old Big Lake man being arrested, according to the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities were called at about 7 a.m. to the 17400 block of 165th Street in Big Lake Township on a report of a dispute between neighbors.
