Shabazz Muhammad had 19 points and Nikola Pekovic tallied 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves cruised past the Milwaukee Bucks 110-91 on Wednesday. Chase Budinger also scored 15 for the Timberwolves, who started the game on a 12-1 run and never trailed.

Anthony Bennett scored 17 points and Ricky Rubio had 16, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 107-89 preseason victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. Bennett was 7 for 9 from the field. The reserve scored Minnesota’s first six points of the fourth quarter to help the Wolves maintain their comfortable lead over the injury-depleted Pacers.

Mo Williams had 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds, and Zach LaVine scored 15 points for the Minnesota Timberwolves in a 116-110 preseason victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night. First overall pick Andrew Wiggins, who came to Minnesota in the Kevin Love trade, scored 11 points in his home debut. Anthony Bennett had 13 points and eight rebounds.

Wolves’ Kevin Martin Says He Won’t Cut Corners

In the final game of last season, and the final game of Rick Adelman’s coaching career, Kevin Martin went down swinging. While most of the Minnesota Timberwolves slogged through one last game in a massively disappointing season, Martin went after the Utah Jazz. He scored a season-high 36 points, attacked the rim to get to the free throw line for 10 shots and even came up with a couple of steals before fouling out in a rare show of aggression on the defensive end from him.
