Russell Westbrook scored 20 of his 34 points in the first half and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 111-92 on Friday night for their fifth straight victory. James Harden had 38 points before fouling out and Nick Johnson scored on a driving layup with 0.8 seconds to go in overtime that helped the Houston Rockets escape with a 114-112 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. Harden made 11 of 17 shots and also had six assists, but he fouled out with 1:20 to play and the Rockets let a 13-point lead with 5 minutes to go slip away.

Sixers-Wolves Have To Restart After Mishap

The Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves were literally going in the wrong direction. The game between the two struggling teams had to be restarted 16 seconds in after officials figured out that both teams were lined up and shooting at the wrong ends of the floor. The Sixers won the opening tip and Henry Sims was fouled and getting ready to take a free throw when referee Zach Zarba stopped the game.
