Remains In S.D. Are Of Man Missing 14 Years

Human remains found in western South Dakota’s Lawrence County last week have been identified as those of a man whose disappearance 14 years ago prompted searches in three states. The remains are those of David F. Johnson, a retired dentist from Buffalo, Wyoming, who was reported missing on June 5, 2000, according to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities Execute Search Warrant In Case Of Missing Man

Authorities executed a search warrant in Hutchinson this week in the hopes of obtaining more information in the disappearance of a missing Wright County man. Christopher Rossing was last seen alive in the early-morning hours of Aug. 23 as he was leaving Trouble’s Bar and Restaurant in Howard Lake.

Search Continues For Man Who Went Missing On Medicine Lake

The search continued Sunday for a missing man on Medicine Lake. Paul Myklebust, 31, and another man were kayaking on Medicine Lake early Saturday morning when the kayak flipped. The other person made to shore, but Myklebust didn’t.

Authorities are searching Medicine Lake for a missing Twin Cities man Saturday. They are looking for 31-year-old Paul Myklebust of St. Louis Park. According to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s office, Myklebust was at a party on Medicine Lake.

St. Anthony Man, Whose Son Was Killed By Police, Is Missing

St. Anthony Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man, whose son was shot and killed by Orono Police last November after allegedly killing a physician. Police say Todd Hoffstrom, 56, was last seen at his St. Anthony home early Monday morning.

Police: Missing Maplewood Man Found Near Cannon Falls

Authorities in Maplewood say an 84-year-old man who went missing on Tuesday has been found and is safe. Arthur Robert Arnold, Jr., of Maplewood, left his home at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday to go to a St. Paul barbershop, but never got there.

More Charges In Disappearance Of Christopher Rossing

Christopher Rossing was last seen alive in the early hours of Aug. 23 as he was leaving Trouble’s Bar and Restaurant in Howard Lake. After an evening of drinking with some friends he was walking out the door with Robert Nuttall. There had been an argument between Nuttall and his girlfriend, Gwen Butcher.

MN Student Thought Missing In Montana Has Been Found

A University of Montana student has been found after he was reported missing when he failed to return from a weekend fishing trip. The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office said 21-year-old August Kramer, of Mahtomedi, called his mother and told her that someone picked him up.

5 Years Later, Minnesota Man Still Missing

It’s been five years since a rural Staples man disappeared, and authorities still don’t know what happened to him. Eighty-two-year-old Peter Achermann left his home to run errands on July 24, 2009. He was last seen on Warner Road by the Crow Wing River Bridge between noon and 1 p.m.

Authorities say a 66-year-old Minnesota man was found dead near the Fisher Towers hiking trail in eastern Utah. Grand County sheriff’s officials say they recovered the body of Duluth resident Robert Bergquist early Friday morning.
