Police Arrest Man In Connection With Grisly Find

Wisconsin police have arrested a 52-year-old man almost three weeks after human remains were found in suitcases, and investigators identified one victim as a missing Minnesota woman. Town of Geneva police Chief Steven Hurley said in a statement the man was arrested Wednesday. The news release didn’t elaborate on the man’s suspected role.

Authorities said a body found earlier this week near Theodore Wirth Park is that of a Minneapolis woman who had been missing for the last month. Golden Valley Police were called to the area of Wirth Parkway and Plymouth Avenue on Tuesday on a report of a body found near a set of railroad tracks.
