A southern Minnesota family lost one of their 200 pound Great Danes Saturday when a wild animal attacked their animals. Officers say it may have been a mountain lion, but there’s no doubt it was something wild. Alex Endrizzi has been an owner of Great Danes for 47 years.
Last Friday, while grilling on Jacob Todd’s rooftop patio near Dale Street and Grand Avenue, Todd and his girlfriend, Abigail Marcus, said they heard something disturbing. “We both lit up a couple of cigarettes and there was a shriek from across the street in the Pier 1 Imports parking lot,” said Todd.
A woman whose horse was attacked by a big cat wants to warn other animal owners in Minnesota. The attack happened north of the town of Aitkin last week outside owner Lori Hart’s home near Highways 169 and 210.
