High Schools Paying More To Play In State TourneysIt's state tournament time in Minnesota, and it will cost more for some schools to make the trip this year. The Minnesota State High School League has warned schools to expect smaller reimbursement checks at the end of the school year. Mayer Lutheran may only be home to 180 students, but on Friday nearly all of them made the 45-mile trip to St. Paul to see their team compete on the volleyball court.
