Former Minnesota star and three-time Olympic medalist Natalie Darwitz has agreed to become women’s hockey coach at Hamline. Hamline announced the hiring Monday.
The University of Minnesota announced Wednesday night it will induct 10 former and current Gophers to the school’s “M” Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place in the DQ Club Room at TCF Bank Stadium at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24.
Natalie Darwitz used to start for the gophers — she even served as an assistant coach for the university. But now she is the head coach of her own high school program at Lakeville South.
